Jacquie Henderson - Director of Communications and External Affairs 

Jacquie Henderson brings extensive experience and a dynamic approach to her role as Director of Communications and External Affairs. Her impressive background in strategic communications, paired with her passion for community engagement, makes her ideally positioned to elevate OCPA’s presence in the community while strengthening our connection with stakeholders. Louis Ting - Director of Power Resources 

Louis Ting joins OCPA as our first Director of Power Resources. With more than 30 years of experience in water and power, Louis has led transformative projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution. In this new role, he will spearhead OCPA’s efforts to diversify and manage our energy portfolio, aiming for a cleaner, more sustainable, and reliable electricity grid. His expertise in renewable energy and decarbonization initiatives will be crucial as we strive to achieve 100% carbon-free resources while we support our community's energy needs. Read more about Louis here.

We are accepting applicants for our new E-Bike Safety and Incentive Pilot Program! OCPA customers aged 18 and up can apply for a discount voucher to redeem toward an e-bike and helmet at select local bike shops. Ensuring rider safety is paramount, so completion of an e-bike safety training course is mandatory for all voucher recipients. Vouchers available while supplies last.

California Community Choice Association Joint Staff Committee Meeting 

OCPA team members recently attended the semi-annual Community Choice Aggregation Joint Staff Committees meeting in San Diego, bringing together California Community Choice Association members throughout California. Topics explored include energy affordability, customer care, equity, legislative priorities, and distributed energy resources.  

California Climate and Energy Forum 

The 15th Annual California Climate and Energy Forum, sponsored by OCPA, took place in Palm Springs bringing together local agencies, partners, and supporters to share best practices on climate action and energy.
