The Boca Raton Police Department is a full-service police department that patrols the streets and waterways with 217 sworn officers and 110 civilian support staff positions dedicated to keeping our city safe. There are two divisions: Field Services and Community Services. Within the divisions, there are five bureaus: patrol, investigations, special services, professional services and support services.

In 2022, the Boca Raton Police Department swore in eight (8) new officers. Help us welcome:
Officer Chaya Baumgarten
Officer Dominic Suboyo
Officer Marshon Brown
Officer Gabriel Cox
Officer Kirby Bagwell
Officer Gabriel Bouyett
Officer Matthew Stephenson
Officer Joseph Reyes

Following certification, a new officer completes six weeks of in-house classroom training. After completing in-house training, they are sworn in. The new officers are then assigned to a three-month comprehensive field training program. Qualified training officers supervise this work/training environment.

Thank you for your generosity throughout this year. We continue to be committed to our initiatives that prioritize the public safety of our community. Together we can ensure our new and current officers have the training, equipment and technology they need to keep us safe. Please consider a year end gift.

Donations of $100 will receive two (2) Boca Raton Police Foundation decals for your car, home or office.
