U.S. CHRISTIAN CHAMBER NEWS

Please join me in welcoming Denise Grace Gitsham to the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

By Krystal Parker

Leadership matters—especially when what you're leading is growing faster than anyone could have imagined.

Just three years ago, the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce was starting from zero. Today, we serve thousands of Christian business leaders and are building a national network infrastructure that includes a Christian Chamber Coalition of 35 chambers from sea to shining sea.

That kind of growth brings tremendous opportunity—and tremendous responsibility.

The bigger the assignment becomes, the more intentional we must be about who is sitting at the leadership table.

That’s why the appointment of Denise Grace Gitsham to the USCCC Board of Directors is much more than another board announcement. It fills a strategic seat we have intentionally left open—and prayed over—for years.

There is a lesson here for every business leader: Don't fill a seat simply because it's empty. Wait for the right person for the assignment.

USCCC's board has been built that way—not by chance, but by design.

Board Chair Ford Taylor has spent decades transforming leaders, organizations, and cultures.

Chuck Proudfit has mobilized more than 15,000 workplace Christians and helped pioneer citywide faith-at-work strategy.

Jim and Martha Brangenberg have carried the workplace-as-mission-field message across the nation.

Dr. George Cope represents five decades of pastoral, organizational, and community leadership.

Patrice Tsague has equipped more than 25,000 entrepreneurs globally to build and steward businesses according to biblical principles.

Shae Bynes, a pioneering voice in Kingdom entrepreneurship, has influenced more than one million people to see business through a Kingdom lens and partner with God in the marketplace.

Robert Fukui combines 25 years of corporate experience with a mission to help entrepreneurs build prosperous businesses and thriving families.

Attorney and entrepreneur Brooke Boltz leads at the intersection of law, business ownership, faith, and culture.

Nate Chrisman is helping shape the next generation through practical, biblically rooted education in schools and communities.

Robbie Harper helps faith-based organizations and leaders communicate with clarity and influence.

And President and Founder Krystal Parker draws on Fortune 200 executive leadership, organizational strategy, and years of pioneering work in business to lead the build-out of a connected national infrastructure for Christian business.

We believe God has brought each of these leaders to the table for such a time as this.

And there was still one seat we knew we needed.

Denise has spent more than two decades at the intersection of law, business, media, culture, and government. She has served at the White House and in the U.S. Senate, practiced law, advised organizations, worked with startups, run for Congress, and become a nationally recognized political commentator.

USCCC isn't a political organization, and we don't pick political sides. We believe policy is downstream from culture—and culture is shaped every day in our businesses, workplaces, families, churches, and communities. But what happens in Washington also affects the environment in which businesses employ people, create opportunity, serve communities, and build for future generations.

Our role is not to make politics the center of the mission, but to ensure a credible Christian business voice is represented in the rooms where policy decisions are made.

Denise understands that nuance.

She brings Christian conviction, legal and political fluency, cultural intelligence, national media experience, and the ability to speak truth while building bridges with grace. Her bestselling book, Politics for People Who Hate Politics, helps Christians engage a polarized culture without sacrificing conviction, relationships, or our call to love and unify.

In many ways, it reflects exactly why Denise is right for this seat: engage without becoming consumed, stand firmly on truth without surrendering grace, and bring a credible Christian voice into places where it needs to be heard.

We asked Denise to join the board before. More than once.

Denise even joined us at SWC 2026 as a speaker in our Policy & Marketplace Impact Lab.

She still said no.

So we didn't push harder or simply find someone else. We left the door open, turned it over to God, and trusted Him with the outcome.

Then God moved—not because we orchestrated it, but because the Holy Spirit did the work we could not do.

Denise said yes.

For every business leader, there is a lesson in that: sometimes leadership means recognizing who belongs at the table, opening the door, and having enough faith to wait on God for the timing.

The future of Christian business depends on what we build today.

The infrastructure matters. The relationships matter. The people around the table matter.

What God has entrusted to USCCC is growing—and with growth comes an even greater responsibility to steward it well.

Please join me in welcoming Denise Grace Gitsham to the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Denise, we’ve waited a long time for this—and we’re grateful you said yes.

We have something extra special to celebrate this week! We celebrate this precious blessing with Karl, Jill, and their entire family.

And speaking of new beginnings—Oregon is on the move! The Oregon Christian Chamber has barely left the starting block and is already creating excitement and building a strong following across the state. With membership growing quickly and its first major five-figure sponsorship already secured, the momentum is building! Keep going, Michael and the Oregon team. We can't wait to see what God has planned for Oregon!

Finally, this week, we held the first This Is How We Chamber™ Labs

specifically to equip, strengthen, and connect our Coalition Chamber leaders.

Scripture of the Week

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin."

— Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)

What a fitting reminder for this week. Whether it is a new life, a new Chamber, or a new opportunity to grow together, God delights in beginnings. May we faithfully nurture what He places in our hands and watch with expectation as He brings the increase.

Look what God is doing—and this is how we Chamber!
