It's been a few weeks since my last newsletter because I've been focused on building a new website. My focus has been on usability particularly for seeing all available variations for products.

I hope you an enjoy that when you are looking at a yarn, you can now see all of the colors and how much I have in stock.

The website is a constant work in progress and there's still a lot that I want to improve.

It's a busy week in the shop with 2 events today, Meet Smirligans and Cambria Pride by the Sea, and Sip and Stitch on Wednesday.

And there's still time to sign up for some classes!

Meet Local Indie Dyer - Smirligans

Join us in the shop today, Sunday June 30th, from 12-2PM to meet local indie dyer, Heather Wiebe of Smirligans!

Smirligans is a local Central Coast independent hand-dyer specializing in Merino wool yarn. Currently the shop is offering a bird series, that showcases the brilliant colors that birds have to offer and a California Native Flowers collection featuring Poppies, Lupine, and Seaside Wooly Sunflower colorways.

Smirligans yarns are available in Fingering, Sport, Aran, and Chunky weight 100 gram skeins and in Fingering 20 gram mini-skeins. 

During the event, all Smirligans yarns will be discounted 15%!

The co-op that dyes the Manos del Uruguay yarn has lowered some their prices. I am passing along those savings to you!

Cambria Pride by the Sea is Today (June 30th)!

Join us at Cambria Pride by the Sea today, June 30th, from 11AM - 4PM!

Ball & Skein & More is delighted to be participating in the 2nd Annual Cambria Pride by the Sea event. We'll have a vendor booth set up at the Cambria Vet's building where we'll be selling a curated collection of products from the shop.

In celebration of Pride, I created a Cambria Pride by the Sea beanie kit. The pattern is also available as a free download.

It's Sip & Stitch Week (July 3rd)!

We have hundreds of patterns available on our web site! You can filter by stitch gauge or yarn line to help you find what you're looking for. You'll find a variety of free and paid patterns for all stitch gauges for crochet and knit.
