Steve Dittmar's
presence filled ministry.
|
We thought you would like to get to know our good friend Pastor Steve Dittmar who is coming once again with a team from their church to CHOSEN 2017.
Steve and his wife Cammy lead Jubilee Church, in Camarillo, California, about 1 ½ hours drive from Los Angeles. Jubilee is a thriving church full of people passionate for the presence of God. They have strong missionary links to Israel, Africa and Europe. Their church houses a powerful youth ministry, children's ministry, café and coffee shop and works powerfully within their local community.
|
Steve received a mighty touch from God
in the 1960s as a young Southern Californian surfer while at a Christian camp for young people. He was changed overnight with a divinely given hunger for God and His word. He gave himself totally in seeking God's word and ultimately found himself preparing for ministry.

Jubilee Church:
Since 1984, Jubilee's first calling, and core DNA, has been to be a House of Prayer. The vision Jubilee is built upon is - "To know God, be known by God, and make Him known"
|
A relational experience is fostered at Jubilee, foremost through encountering God individually in the secret place. Jubilee offers a place of learning His presence and dwelling there-to live and reign with Christ in heavenly places.
|
Prayer takes many forms and expressions at Jubilee. However, in all forms and expressions, Jubilee's intentionality is to communicate with God-from heaven toward earth-from Christ's finished work, toward man's needs.
|
Jubilee is a "City of Refuge" church. On our journey of life, there will be times when we find ourselves running from something seeking to destroy us. In the Old Testament, God set up "Cities of Refuge", to shelter those who had accidentally
killed someone. In the eastern culture, the avenger of blood (a family member) was bound, by honour, to seek out the slayer of his family. The only places of safety were Cities of Refuge. There, they could live freely-protected from the avenger of blood. At Jubilee Jesus becomes our City of Refuge. His blood speaks forgiveness. In His kingdom, (our City of Refuge) we discover His sovereignty. At Jubilee, believers grow in living free from molestation and the harassment of the enemy, as they learn to live in His love and forgiveness. Within Jubilee is a place of recovery and discovery for many, as we experience more of God and the ways of His kingdom.

Sincerely be in prayer for Pastor Steve! He's bringing a group from Jubilee Church, many of who are highly gifted in prophetic prayer and counselling, and we can bear personal testimony to how wonderfully these teams carry the love and grace of God upon them. They're prepared to pray with you for any need you may have!

When asked what brought him to a place of intimacy with Christ, Pastor Steve said:
A turning point has always been a great encounter or great need that drives me to encounter God. Our God is an enormous, vibrant pursuing lover. Often I encounter God on my surf board, other times in the middle of a crisis. It isn't the answer I am looking for, its God I'm looking for. Once connected I know I have the answer. Finding him is everything. I know that so many people lose their place with God because they come with needs and requests that never get answered in the way they hoped. And they stop praying. I find myself making this statement; I don't believe in God because He answers my prayers. I believe because He IS the answer. Once you meet Him, things will fall into place...in His way.
