Hello SPA Community,

We are hitting the ground running at the Sister Stella Foundation, and we’re looking forward to another productive and impactful year working on behalf of our students, school and community.

We couldn’t do this important work without the generosity of the St. Paul the Apostle community, and we are so grateful for your ongoing support. We are hard at work planning our next projects, and will be kicking off our annual fundraising in February. Please stay tuned for more details on how you can contribute and get involved.

Our donor families are the heart of our foundation, and this month we’d like to spotlight the Nassiri Family

Donor Family Spotlight

Meet the Nassiri Family

Please meet Jim, Sarah, Jack and Kate! Jim is a Pain Management Physician, practicing in Beverly Hills. Sarah is an attorney working at the nation’s largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer since 2009. They met in 2007 and have been married since October, 2008. Jack (7th grade) loves to play chess and has an amazing talent for completing advanced Lego sets. Kate (4th grade) loves art and has been in competitive dance since 2018.

Jim and Sarah on what the Sister Stella Foundation means to their family and why they choose to donate:

“We believe the Sister Stella Foundation is vital to our children’s education, growth and development. The foundation provides not only enriching, creative activities, but it also provides an environment that helps young students develop positive relationships with their peers. All in all, we feel that it fosters an improved sense of self-worth for our children and their future success. With education costs rising constantly, we understand that our school tuition would not be able to fund programs we would like to see our children have access to. The Sister Stella Foundation provides that opportunity. Our donation is given in love for the well-being of our entire community. We know that the foundation is a priceless organization as it benefits not only our students, but our faculty and staff.”

Our heartfelt thanks to the Nassiri family!
