News Release: Midtown to Westside Interconnect Project

Construction Notice:

Waterline Replacement Project

Starting on Monday, July 10, the City will begin a waterline replacement project on Telegraph Road between Hill and Mills. The project is expected to be complete by fall 2024.

Construction impacts include lane closures and night work between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Access to businesses and residences will remain available.

The Midtown to Westside Interconnect Project will allow water to be moved more efficiently from the east side of the City to the west. As part of this project, Ventura Water will replace several fire hydrants and valves to improve fire protection service in the area. A street resurfacing project, between Ashwood to Victoria Avenue, will begin after the completion of the waterline project.
