A Crosswinds Counselor Is At Your School And Ready To Help Students Overcome Hurdles
Crosswinds Counseling is providing in-school counseling support for your students this year! Crosswinds counselors can help students with any mental, behavioral, or emotional issue that may be interfering with their learning. Your Crosswinds counselor, Danna Hamilton, M.S., LMHCA, will be coming to your school each week on Thursday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and will be counseling students in 30-minute sessions beginning September 2, 2021.
Danna Hamilton, M.S., LMHCA
Danna has worked with many adults and children of all ages, and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) during her sessions. Danna will help students to work through their trauma and anxiety to break free from constant worry. If a student is acting out or you feel like their life is being consumed or controlled by anxiety, depression, trauma, or another struggle, Danna wants to help them overcome these things so that they can be successful.
Advocate For Your Student's Mental Health
To refer a student to receive in-school counseling, please complete a referral form and send it to your school’s point person, Ellen Wyss. From there, someone will then reach out to the student’s parents/guardians for consent to receive in-school counseling.
Thank you for advocating for your student's mental health and wellness!
