Hello Aggies! It's almost here! There are just a few weeks until fall quarter begins. We've got some important information in this newsletter for you about moove-in and upcoming fall events to get you even more excited for the new year. We wish everyone luck with moving!

It's almost moove-in! Our teams are finalizing preparations to welcome you to campus. You'll have the opportunity to meet many of them, but we wanted to introduce you to your Resident Directors (RDs). Get to know the professional staff managing the residence halls in the Segundo, Tercero, Cuarto and The Green housing areas. And say hi! We love to get to know you.

UC Davis is Amongst the Top 10 Best College Food

Student Housing and Dining Services and ASUCD Coffee House are thrilled to announce that UC Davis now ranks among the top ten colleges in America for the best food. We rank number 8, with an A+ rating for overall score and campus food. The ranking is based on meal plan costs, which has a 15% weight, and student reviews, which comprise 85% of the score.

Fall Hop

Explore campus and get to know your new neighbors with a variety of free activities, games, music and more! Fall Hop is happening Friday, September 27 from 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM. There will be events happening in Tercero, Segundo, Cuarto, The Green and Orchard Park. All activities are free and open to all Student Housing and Dining Services Residents. Discover all of the fun events, including a bounce house, silent disco, face painting, movies, karaoke and more!

Want a cost-efficient way to get your meals? We have a meal plan for you! Learn more about our 9-meals-a-week plan that can be used on campus as well as at Sage Street's market, cafe and coffee shop.

Want a burrito without meat? Questions about ingredients? Just ask us! We want you to feel right at home so ask us any questions or request any modification. You can also ask a chef at any platform for a taste of a dish before committing to a whole plate.

September Monthly Acknowledgements - Discover the holidays being observed this month. If you observe any, we hope your celebrations are joyful and meaningful.

UC Davis Volleyball vs UCLA - Thursday, September 19. Game starts at 6pm (doors open at 5pm) at the University Credit Union Center

Chef Challenge Live - Monday, September 23 in Olive Main. Doors open at 6:30 and show starts at 7 pm. Free entrance for the event.
