PrincipalMeet Your Principal
Dear Student & Parent/Guardians,

As we get ready to kick off the 2019/2020 school year, we'd like to introduce you to our new DACC Principal, Jim Gaskill. Mr. Gaskill comes to DACC from the Worthington City School District where he served as both a middle school and high school principal. Prior to joining Worthington City Schools, Mr. Gaskill has also filled the roles of Assistant Principal, Basketball Coach, and Math and Science Teacher. He is looking forward to bringing his diverse background to the Delaware Area Career Center's diverse set of students and programs.

While at Worthington City Schools, Mr. Gaskill worked with Project Lead the Way, a program that partnered with Honda of America and Columbus State Community College. The program aimed to provide students with a hands-on education that would leave them toward a successful college and career path without the burden of college debt. After seeing how successful this model could be, he was thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Delaware Area Career Center leadership team.

His advice for our students this year is to get involved, learn, and continue to enhance your skills. Build strong relationships - you are part of the DACC family now and we're glad you're here.

Take pride in our school. You made a positive choice for your future and you deserve to be proud of your school and your accomplishments.

Take care of our school and each other.

At DACC, we have high expectations for learning and will challenge you to perform your best. Always know that our mission is to help you be successful. We are a family - never hesitate to ask for help.

Mr. Gaskill lives in Lewis Center with his wife, Regina, their daughter, Marina, and their dog, Archie.
TrafficNew Traffic Light
We are excited to announce that on July 31st a new traffic light at the intersection of Glenn Parkway and State Route 23 was installed. With the increased traffic in and around our school, this will increase the safety of our students, staff, and visitors.

Please be aware that when traffic lights are added, many drivers do not notice them right away. We advise that all of our drivers look both ways and proceed with caution before pulling out onto State Route 23.
WebSiteFresh Look for DACC Web Site
Over the weekend, we rolled out a new look for the DACC web site. We hope that this will increase the overall usability of the site and help everyone find what they want more quickly.

If you have bookmarked specific pages, those URL addresses will not change. To see what's new, take a look at this preview video or jump straight to the site and take a look around at www.DelawareAreaCC.org:
