Dear Giving Nest Families,
We are so excited to welcome you and your child to the 2026–2027 school year! Our Meet & Greet is a special opportunity for you and your child to visit the classroom together, meet the teachers, and become familiar with their new school environment before the first day.
You will have about 15–20 minutes to explore the classroom, play with the toys, and check out the different areas together. Your child’s teacher and assistant(s) will be there to say hello, answer questions, and help you both feel comfortable. You will also see Mrs. Max, Miss Sherry, and Miss Chrissy, and we look forward to seeing everyone!
While you are here, talk with your child about how much fun school will be. You might say something like, “Next time you come, Mommy or Daddy will leave for a little while, and you will get to stay and play.” Take note of any toys or activities your child especially enjoys. If they are feeling unsure on the first day, reminding them about those favorites can help make the transition a little easier.
If you have any outstanding paperwork, including yellow forms, medical forms, or immunization records, please bring them with you to the Meet & Greet.
