Last year a friend "celebrated Black History Month" by attending our UWFaith Annual Racial Justice event. I hope you'll choose to celebrate with us this year on Saturday, Feb. 22nd. We'll be at the lovely New Riverside UMC in Ft. Worth. It is going to be a great event, and well worth the drive.

We're thrilled to announce Texas Appleseed as a sponsor. Registration is just $10 -- including lunch. This is open to the whole community. Please register now! We'll get everything ready while you get your carload together!

It's 2025 - Do we have new UWFaith Priorities (yet)?

No, we do not. Why?

The reality is that mass incarceration of communities of color, climate and environmental justice have always been and continue to be issues that impact women, children and youth, in all communities everywhere, whether we choose to recognize it or not. We cannot give up advocating for justice and change. Even small wins or steps make a difference . . . read more in this response article. The end of the article lists three easy steps we can take to prepare for 2025 and beyond.
