For those of you who have not met Lindsay, she has been with us on a part-time basis since 2015 and has become instrumental to our team throughout the past year and half. We are super excited to announce that she has now accepted a full-time position with us so we'll all be seeing her on a regular basis! That means Lindsay will be handling various aspects of the settlement process including but not limited to conducting settlements, initial contract review, title review, and so much more. Lindsay has been practicing law since 2007 and has focused her legal career on consumer protection and education, specifically in financial transactions where the opportunity for fraud is highest.
Prior to joining Frederick Title Group, Lindsay worked as a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Bureau in Frederick where she represented clients in consumer protection, bankruptcy, and foreclosure prevention matters.
Buying or selling a home can be an exciting but stressful experience in today's market. It is Lindsay's goal to assist FTG in providing a stress-free settlement environment from the time an order is received all the way through to the table where she can offer a clear and thorough explanation of each document clients will be asked to sign.
Lindsay is a licensed Title Insurance Producer and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and Montgomery County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and California, as well as the United States District Court of Maryland, the United States Bankruptcy Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Lindsay received her J. D. from Monterey College of Law in Seaside, California and her B. A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park. Lindsay loves fitness and is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer. She co-owns a CrossFit gym in Gaithersburg, and resides in Germantown.
