Hello fellow LIONS! Ten years ago, some friends of ours clued us in on a new charter school that would be opening in Williamson County. We sat in on an informational session and knew Meridian was the perfect fit for our Ryan. As fate would have it, we made it in the year Meridian opened. Now Ryan is in 10th grade and our daughter Lilian is in 1st grade.
We are the Wood Family and we reside in East Round Rock. My husband Tim and I have spent many hours over the last ten years finding ways to pitch in through volunteering. One of my favorite things about Meridian is our community and the culture of helping. I have built many relationships through opening car doors in the morning car line (even while 8 months pregnant), checking families out at the Book Fair, scooping ice cream during class parties and assisting with Back to School Open House night. This year I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as the 2020-2021 Treasurer for ViP. While this year looks different, there are still so many ways to get involved and build relationships.
If you are new to Meridian, have been here for 10 years, or anytime in between, there are plenty of opportunities for you to join in, build relationships and make memories with your family here at Meridian.
