After reviewing a record-breaking 70 applications from across eight Northern California counties, the City of Elk Grove is proud to announce the 16 semi-finalists for the 2025 Pitch Elk Grove competition! This year marks the first time a San Joaquin County startup has advanced to the semi-finalist round, highlighting the competition’s growing regional impact.
These innovative startups reflect the best of Northern California’s entrepreneurial spirit, bringing bold ideas, diverse industries, and high-growth potential to the forefront. On July 31st, all 16 will participate in a virtual pitch-off to determine who will move on to the finals. The top teams will then receive expert mentorship and pitch live on September 4th at District56 in Elk Grove, where $20,000 in prizes will be awarded.
