CSTA WA Board Elections Update!

Elections for the 26-27 CSTAWA board have come to a close and we are excited to announce Nick Harker, Jenny Styer and Tammie Schrader to the CSTAWA board.  


Congratulations to Denise Thompson, Trish Henry, and Lawrence Tanimoto for being elected to continue to serve on the CSTA WA board.

Celebrate Washington’s 2026 First Robotics World Qualifiers

Congratulations to Tahoma Senior High School (Tahoma SD) and Henry M. Jackson High School (Everett SD), who were two of the five teams making it to the First Robotics World Championship Finals in Houston, TX in May.

Rubber Duck Spotlight: FUTURE II at Bellevue College

Panel Discussion: Coding for Community: Small Solutions, Big Impact


On June 13, Bellevue College and CSTA Washington hosted over 50 educators for FUTURE II (Foundations for Understanding Technology Uniting Resources for Educators) – a professional development event for educators teaching CS-related courses or integrating CS concepts into existing courses. Attendees were eligible to receive up to 4 Washington STEM clock hours.
