LocWorld  has been a meeting place for localization experts and their clients since 2003. From its humble beginnings, the conference has grown into a major industry event, held three times a year on three different continents.

With the 32nd edition coming up in Montreal from October 26-28, I interviewed LocWorld co-founder and organizer Donna Parrish for episode #030 of The Worldly Marketer Podcast . In this post, I share some highlights from that conversation.

Brand Quarterly magazine has published its  Global Marketing Special Edition 2016. It contains several excellent articles on topics that marketers need to consider when planning an international marketing campaign.

Harvard Business Review makes the case that Africa, despite its various difficulties, also presents many  long-term opportunities for multinational businesses. " In an aging world, Africa has the advantage of a young and growing population and will soon have the fastest urbanization rate in the world."
