Coach Ted Ginn Sr. has long been an advocate of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. FCA has been a major part of the solution at Ginn Academy, as Coach Ginn would say, FCA is not a program, it's A WAY OF LIFE!. His leadership, influence and love for the young men that he works with is inspiring to all. The impact that he has on the young men has gone beyond what they learn in school, on the field or in their neighborhoods. He shows his players that they are important, significant and that they can change the direction of their life, that there is a way out. He teaches them to be men of honor.

Metro Cleveland FCA is proud to be a part of Coach Ginn's program in changing the lives of these young athletes. With all of the negative things that the media shows highlighting the terrible things that plague the inner city, it is refreshing to see the potential in the young people that come from these communities.

We are proud to be a vital part of how God is using Coach Ginn and FCA to change these young lives. Metro Cleveland FCA's own, Nobles Darby III, is the face of FCA to the Glenville Football team. Nobles gave the message each day at the FCA Camp this past July for the team and continues to be a weekly presence at practice. Our camp with the team this summer saw 27 come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and we are continuing the work that was started.

Call to Prayer!!!

As partners with Metro Cleveland FCA it is vital to have prayer as the backbone of our ministry.

Please join us by lifting up the following needs to our Lord.
  • For a great start to the new school year as the campus huddle groups start up for another year of spiritual growth and impact.
  • For all the local area FCA coaches as they strive to coach in a manner that goes beyond the game to have a positive influence in the lives of their players.
  • For the FCA staff to be refreshed and strengthened for the task set before them to minister to coaches and athletes.

Thousands Provide Positive Camp Feedback at #FCAStrong

It's the 2018 version of writing letters home from camp. This summer, well over 100,000 coaches and athletes worked on their athletic skills and team building while strengthening their faith in Christ at hundreds of FCA Camps across the country and around the world. Thousands of these campers shared positive feedback about their life-changing experiences through #FCAStrong on social media.

"Praying whether we win or lose, thankful for the chance to compete and honor our God in competition."
