Team Highlight

INFANT MENTAL HEALTH (IMH)

"The IMH Team continues to go above and beyond! They continue to come to work each day to help meet their clients' needs as well as support each other day in and day out. They truly care for one another ... I am proud to work along such great women who show compassion and empathy to everyone and their clients."

Meet the Team!

Cynthia Smeyers, Jessica Evans, Daniele Bush, Shaun Roberts & Chelsea Kelley

What building(s) do you work in?

We work out of the MCA building servicing families in their homes and community.

How would you sum up the work that you do?

The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Team serves children 0-7 and their caregivers in their homes and community. We work to enhance the foundation of healthy relationships and brain development.

Do you have a team motto?

“When little people and their caregivers are overwhelmed by big emotions, it is our job to share our calm, not join their chaos.”

What is one of the most rewarding moments you have had as a team?

Resiliency! Being able to lean on each other through feeling confident in the safe space we’re able to provide each other.

What is something your team leans on to help get through the tough days?

The IMH team thrives on honest relationships with one another. Hearing, seeing and validating! (Food and caffeine also help to get us through the day ;))
