AI and database integration are transforming sales. In the paper packaging, printing, pulp, and converting industries, this integration is especially valuable because purchasing cycles are often long and expensive. Learn more at the next GBIG-sponsored event, Sales Rewired: Innovative Selling for the 5P Industries.

The keynote speaker will be Matt Seitz, who leads the AI Hub for Business at UW-Madison, working with organizations to translate AI into practical business outcomes. He advises Fortune 500 companies including Google, Walmart, Medtronic, Kimberly-Clark, and 3M, and teaches AI strategy to senior executives and MBA students.

Paper Dimensions LLC, a specialty paper converting company in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, launched a redesigned website. The new site presents the company’s core specialty in one place: high-mix, tight-tolerance paper slitting, rewinding, and converting. Paper Dimensions converts rolls from ½” to 112″ wide and 6″ to 60″ in diameter for technical, kraft, printing, and food-grade applications.

Unionized Workforce

Employers acquiring a business with a unionized workforce may soon have more flexibility to challenge the incumbent union's status than they have had. In July, the D.C. Circuit ruled that the National Relations Labor Board never had the authority to impose its “successor bar” doctrine. Other doctrines may be next. If an acquisition involving a unionized workforce is on the horizon, put the successor bar into your deal timing and strategy now.

Improve Reliabilty

In a labor-constrained manufacturing environment with rising automation dependency and tighter margins, reliable infrastructure is a strategic business advantage. Reliability is a competitive advantage. Access helps manufacturers improve reliability through power, cooling, monitoring, and infrastructure engineering solutions.

Flexible Packaging

Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Oshkosh Converting is entering its fifth year in business as a flexible packaging converting company built around responsiveness, quality, and customer service. Founders Jeff Slusarski and Rick Tesch started the company to offer a genuine commitment to customer service..
