Join us this summer for weekly performances at Magical Bridge Playground. The fun events are part of the annual Summer Learning Challenge sponsored by the Friends of the Redwood City Library. Every week, Youth Services staff will be at the park promoting the Summer Learning Challenge and giving away free books! Here are the upcoming performances:
Slim Chance Circus!
Hilarious and entertaining family entertainment.

Magic Bubbles & Balloons!
Balloon animals transform into larger sculptures before your very eyes.

Redwood City's Magical Bridge Playground is one of six playgrounds in the bay area that are universally designed to be a socially inclusive playground for everyone. TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!

This past weekend staff from the Redwood City Public Library and North Fair Oaks Library attended the Police Activities League Music Festival in Courthouse Square. In the last few months these libraries have partnered together on school outreach events to share resources, combine expertise and improve access and services to the North Fair Community at-large. Go team!

What do YOU want to see in a new Downtown Park? Take the Survey.
Redwood City Parks, Recreation, and Community Services is planning for a new park at the Downtown Library. The park will provide a family-friendly shared outdoor space for the neighborhood. Over time, the park will be part of a larger green urban recreational corridor that connects Downtown to the bay front.

Our popular Little Learners program resumes next week, with a different location and time! Beginning June 28, the program will be held in the Makerspace on Tuesdays at 3pm.
Children from 3 to 5 years of age are invited to enjoy stories, songs, and crafts.
