ARDELL JOHNSON
I am Ardell Johnson, owner of #219.
I was married to Don, the love of my life, for 48 years until he passed in 2007. I am moving from the 4-level home he built in 1973 in Brooklyn Park. I have a family cabin in God’s country on Lake Edward in Merrifield where I enjoy time with my 6 kids, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. We enjoy bonfires, sunsets, swimming in the lake and pontoon rides.
I grew up in Wheaton, MN and moved to the Cities in 1957 where, soon after, I met my husband who was from Bemidji, MN. My husband was the owner of Bergmann Machine, a machine shop in Brooklyn Center. While raising our six children we became foster parents to 365 children, some of whom still remain in contact today.
I have been an active member of St. Gerard Church for 49 years. I enjoy playing bingo, cards and games - especially Scrabble.
I look forward to meeting my new neighbors, maintenance-free living and no more stairs!
