Association Meeting
First District PTA is thrilled to welcome all of our new and returning PTA leaders!

This email is official notice of the First District PTA Association meeting on Monday, August 24th, 2020.

If you are a First District PTA officer or chairperson, a Council President, an Out-of-Council Unit President, or any PTA Unit Board member or chairperson, you are invited to attend as a voting delegate.

Council PTA Presidents and Unit Presidents: If you are unable to attend this meeting, another officer from your Council or Unit is required to attend in your place in order to assure that this meeting will meet quorum.

All attendees must RSVP online. Zoom meeting details will be sent to you after you register for the meeting. Please click the link below to complete the RSVP form at Eventbrite.
Important Registration Information
If you serve on more than one PTA/PTSA board and you are attending our meeting as a VOTING delegate, please select the PTA/PTSA you are representing and voting on behalf of during registration.

For instance, if you are a unit board member and council board member, but you are voting on behalf of your UNIT, select “Unit PTA/PTSA”, then select the name of the PTA/PTSA you are representing from the drop-down menu.

Quorum (Association Meeting): 54 delegates representing 19 associations

Who should attend this meeting as a voting delegate?

  • First District Officers and Chairmen
  • All Council Presidents PLUS one (1) delegate OR their alternate from each association, selected by the association prior to the first meeting of the district
  • All Unit Presidents PLUS one (1) delegate OR their alternate from each association, selected by the association prior to the first meeting of the district
  • Immediate Past FDPTA President (unless elected or appointed to another office)
  • All CAPTA and National PTA officers and chairmen residing in the district

Non-voting delegates from any council or unit are welcome! Please contact First District PTA President, Diane Hyland, at [email protected] to request a courtesy seat at this meeting.

  • Adopt First District PTA 2020 - 2021 Budget
  • Adopt First District PTA 2020 - 2021 Master Calendar
  • Adopt First District PTA YE Audit

  • Ratify Presidential Appointments
