Livonia AM Rotarians Visit the Livonia Lions Club

November 17, 2025

Club President Nancy Darga was invited to speak at the Livonia Lions Club's monthly meeting. Nancy was joined by club members Tammy Bonifield and Dave Stechholz. Nancy gave a brief history of Rotary, of our local fundraising initiatives and projects, and Rotary's mission to END POLIO NOW!

The group came away with a greater understanding of the significant work that the Lions Club does, particularly in its focus on vision.

Reflecting on her time spent with the Lions, Nancy said, "the world needs to see better, feel deeper, and care and give fully."

Our club is sponsoring a table for this occasion, and all members are encouraged to attend. The evening will be a wonderful chance to dress up, enjoy a delicious meal in the company of friends, and share in the spirit of Rotary fellowship.

Please note that this is a celebration, not a fundraiser. The event is designed to inspire while hearing stories of success achieved by clubs through funding from The Rotary Foundation.

Conversations and stories will address, Why do we give? What does the money do in our own neighborhoods and around the world to UNITE us all for GOOD?

Attendees can expect to leave the evening feeling motivated and perhaps inspired to support The Rotary Foundation in the future.
