The Mt. Lookout Community Council (MLCC) has continued to stay engaged with the proposed redevelopment of 1009, 1011, 1013 and 1015 Delta Avenue and 3152 Linwood Avenue. Because our next community meeting isn't until June 15 and a zoning hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, May 28, we are hosting a virtual meeting this week to share a project update with the community.

Last summer, developer representatives met with the MLCC community to discuss the proposed redevelopment of 1009, 1011, 1013 and 1015 Delta Avenue (located behind UDF) into a residential complex that would include five townhouses and 30 one and two bedroom apartments.

This proposed development is located in the Mt. Lookout Urban Design Overlay District and therefore is subject to an additional layer of zoning requirements. The developer has submitted an application for zoning relief and a zoning hearing has been scheduled for May 28, 2020 at 1:30 pm.

At our meeting on Wednesday, we will share the current proposal, input that the MLCC has provided to the developer team and the City, the findings of the City's Buildings & Inspections department and steps you can take if you'd like to provide comment prior to the hearing. We will also answer questions to the best of our ability.

Additional information as well as copies of materials pertaining to the project are posted on the Development page of the MLCC website . These include:

  • The developer's application and associated exhibits
  • The MLCC Board's letter to the Buildings & Inspections department
  • The Buildings & Inspections' Staff Report

We look forward to talking with you on Wednesday.

Sincerely,

The Mt. Lookout Community Council Board
