As the legally mandated super majority of tenants on the Pasadena Rental Housing Board continues to advance their ideology, we invited one of them to tour some of our properties and disclose specific financial details of the property. This is part of our continued outreach. Personal stories of compassion towards marginalized tenants often leave the activists speechless. We can't tell if they understand the economics we show them....or if they just refuse to believe a narrative different than their own. Time will tell.
As we continue to protect the interest of property owners, this week we are meeting with a few Pasadena city officials regarding the imbalance on the PRHB and the extreme bias against property owners. We have 18 months of evidence and would like to help the city avoid further legal and financial liability. We will keep you updated and possibly ask for your specific engagement soon. For now, let's hope the city steps up and demands a judicious reform that will serve all residents and investors in Pasadena moving forward.
