Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,

This update today from a key ministry in Phoenix, Arizona, Bridgebuilders, confirms our call for God's Solution. Here is their message:

Arizona and 10 Western states are in a crisis that has no human solution, as a seemingly unstoppable “megadrought” has gripped the region.

Reservoirs have drained to their bottoms, rivers have become trickles, and millions of acres are at risk for out-of-control fires.

These states have endured the driest year in more than a century with no drought relief in sight, experts recently told a US House panel.

This follows two decades that were the driest of the 100-plus years on record – and one of the driest spells in the past 1,200 years based on paleohydrology evidence!

  • California agriculture which produces over a third of the nation's vegetables and two-thirds of our fruit – and uses 80% of the state’s water – has been particularly hard hit.

  • Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the US and a critical source of water for Arizona, is at its lowest level since the reservoir was filled in the 1930s and is projected to continue dropping for the next two years.

  • Drought affects hydro-electric power across the region. Power capacity at the Hoover Dam dropped 25% and Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona might approach minimum levels beyond which it produces no power.

  • Over 430,000 acres have already burned so far this year in Arizona, including 23 fires over the past week, of which many still need containment.

  • Data shows that 99% of Arizona is in drought, with over half the state classified as being in “exceptional drought” (the worst kind). One year ago only 13% of Arizona was in some form of drought.

Remembering Arizona Heroes
On this day, eight years ago, Arizona lost 19 heroic firefighters in the Yarnell Hill Fire, one of the most devastating wildfires in state history.

These brave men gave their all in defense of our communities, and their service remains among the greatest ever known to our state. We will never forget their sacrifice.

We also honor those who are fighting wildfires across Arizona today, and are so grateful for their selflessness and bravery. Please remember to pray for our fire crews and first responders during this season!

Last week dry lightning warnings popped up across the western U.S. This happens when the air is so dry that rain from thunderstorms evaporates before it hits the ground, leaving lightning to strike parched trees and shrubs.

Lightning sparked 39 of the 74 wildfires in Arizona last year, while 18 were caused by human activity, including the two largest fires of the year, in Pima and Maricopa counties.

“We have never seen drought at the scale and intensity that we see right now,
and it is possible that this may be the baseline for the future.”
-Elizabeth Klein, senior counselor to the Secretary of Interior

When hope seems lost, the Lord wants us to call on Him in faith for miracles!

As we face this desperate drought, we should remember that in the scriptures the example of answered prayer to end drought is Elijah’s rain miracles!

Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain,
and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
and the earth yielded its crops (James 5:17).

Right now, we’ve entered Arizona’s “time of rain” and we are calling on believers to join us in fasting and prayer for this critical window!

Arizona, New Mexico, and parts of Colorado, Nevada and Utah depend on an annual monsoon that officially runs from June 15 until September 30 each year.
This is the time of year when winds shift, bringing moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf of California into the southwest.

While we are thankful to the Lord for the rain we have received so far, the monsoon forecasts for this season appear bleak and not enough to offset what is needed.

Arizona and New Mexico have missed out on winter precipitation as well as last year’s annual summer monsoon.

It's a critical time to believe for the Lord to send His mercy rains!

Let's Pray:

  • Our hearts cry out to You, Father, for Arizona and the western states! We are in desperate need of Your mercy as farms, families, wildlife, and even our cities and businesses face grave threats due to drought.

  • “Ask the LORD for rain, in the time of the latter rain.” (Zechariah 10:1) Despite the dire predictions, our faith is in You!

  • Thank you that You invite us to pray for rain and stand in faith for this. Now, in this monsoon season, we pray for You to open the windows of heaven in the coming days and weeks and bless us with miraculous, abundant rain!

  • We ask that You would sovereignly hold back the lightning strikes that would cause fires and that You would intervene in attempted arson or other human causes of wildfires, please!

  • Heavenly Father, we also pray for temperatures to drop and winds to cease and that existing fires would be quickly contained.

  • We pray for our fire crews and first responders and ask for powerful angelic protection for them that would be undeniable. We pray that no lives would be lost during this fire season and that Psalm 91 protection would be evident for those who serve as firefighters.

  • For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. (Isaiah 44:3)

  • Thank you for Your incredible promise to water the desert and make it bloom. We ask not only for rainfall in the natural, but for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the next generation and that we would truly see the next Great Awakening!

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This confirms our repentance project www.endingdroughtgodsway.com

It's up to you and me, the little people, to follow His Word to seek His Solution for these disasters.
We have expanded the ending drought repentance project beyond California to three other drought-devastated States: Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. We are now about to include Oregon.

The population in those States adds 15 million to California's 40 Million. Of the 55 million in these key States we are now seeking 1/10th of one percent of the 55 million--- 55,000---believers in Christ to join us in a time of repentance. We are trusting that the Lord will keep His Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and will "hear from heaven, and will forgive sin and heal our land" --- including ending this drought--- when we do our part.

What is our part? You and I are to show the Lord we are turning from our wicked ways. Each person participating can decide with the Holy Spirit what that "turning" looks like.
The first goal is to have 550 participants. Each participant would represent 100,000 residents of those States.

Please join us to use God's Solution !

If you're in another State or nation, do please join us; we need your prayers of intercession. You can also receive a 40 day repentance devotional on the website; participants can use it as suggested resource. The National Day of Repentance You Tube channel now has posted all 40 repentance devotions as short, typically less than five minute, videos. It costs nothing to join; the only cost will be your old sin strongholds! Use this project to let them go!

God bless you,

Pastor Jeff

Do you see repentance as vital for our times? To our knowledge National Day of Repentance is the only Christian ministry focusing solely on personal and national repentance in every nation and applying it in our lives.

No church, no denomination supports us, only YOU! Though we work as volunteers, costs and requests for food pour in each day far beyond our capacity to fulfill these requests. Currently, six people support us monthly. Would you consider being the seventh? Our goal is to reach 100, even if it's only $10 per month. That would cover our costs.

Would you please pray for us? And then give from a cheerful heart as the Lord leads? THANK YOU--whatever the amount you give, you'll receive a blessing--- 2 Corinthians 8: 2-4 and Luke 8:3--- and Fruit that will abound to your spiritual account, Philippians 4:17.

God bless you.

This coming Wednesday at 2 PM Eastern USA time we will hold , God willing, a one hour Zoom repentance call, dealing with one specific sin stronghold: accusing the brethren. Using Scripture and five minutes of private time with the Holy Spirit, participants can choose to confess that issue and then repent. It's private, but as anyone wishes to share, the fellowship builds and the LOVE and fellowship surfaces exquisitely. Please join us! email me for the password.
"The Gift of Repentance" a half hour TV program can be seen on kqsl.org Saturday mornings 9:30 Pacific. This was a recent show:
