Melymel presents her new single "Mente Daña"

Mente Daña
" is the latest single for artist
Melymel
. This song is inspired on real happenings of her life and people that surround her. The track represents various situations that most people experience in our current times and that few tend to admit.
This single, which is accompanied by a music video scripted by Melymel and directed by Nephi Adonis of Cana Films, highlights current issues such as problems in homes of any social class, and realities of the slums; mothers that are not responsible for their children, children who rebel against their parents, violence among young couples, family betrayal, illicit businesses, amongst others. "This is the first song where I demonstrate so many realities that people usually shut-out from society, those personal events that in one form or another leave an indelible mark", expressed the rapper.
The video includes appearances of people that are part of her personal life from childhood through adolescence, people which represent various stages of her life.
The artist is currently in the recording studio working on additional tracks with different rhythms, all of which will also be accompanied by music videos. Additionally, Melymel just wrapped her fifth film role, is about to star in her first television series and continues composing songs for multiple urban and international pop artists.

Melymel presenta su nuevo sencillo "Mente Daña"
"Mente Daña" es el nuevo sencillo de la artista Melymel. En esta canción ella se basa en hechos reales de su vida y de personas de su entorno. La canción representa diversas realidades que viven la mayoría de personas en ésta época y que pocos suelen admitir.
En este sencillo, acompañado de un audiovisual bajo el guión de Melymel y la dirección de Nefi Adonis de Cana Films, se resaltan temáticas como problemas en hogares de cualquier clase social, y realidades de los barrios marginados; madres que no velan por sus hijos, hijos que se rebelan contra sus padres, violencia entre parejas jóvenes, traiciones familiares, negocios ilícitos, entre otras. "Es la primera canción donde muestro tantas realidades que la gente suele callar ante la sociedad, esos sucesos personales que de una forma u otra nos han marcado", expresa la rapera.
El video cuenta con el apoyo de personajes que forman parte de su vida personal desde la infancia y la adolescencia, personas que representan varias etapas de su vida.
Actualmente, la artista se encuentra en el estudio trabajando en varios sencillos con sonidos más profesionales, que también vienen acompañados de audiovisuales, además de que se encuentra en el rodaje de su quinta película, y su primera serie. También ocupa mayor parte de su tiempo componiendo canciones a otros artistas, entre ellos, cantantes urbanos dominicanos y artistas pop internacionales.
