Supporting local business
Greetings!

Hello and Happy June,

The Dufferin Board of Trade held its Annual General Meeting on May 26/20 confirming the 2020 Board of Directors. We welcome Doug Harkness as a new director.

We are optimistic that businesses are opening with social distancing. To aid in that, DBOT is working on an Open for Business Toolkit containing PPE for local businesses.

Although the pandemic has been very hard on business, we have seen many examples of creative adaptability in the face of this setback. We do anticipate the way we do business will change and technology will play a larger role along with the development of multiple income streams. Keep positive and please know that the Dufferin Board of Trade has your back. Feel free to reach out for resources.

Feeling isolated and need connection? Join in the DWIB Cocktails and Connect on June 17th.

DBOT is hoping to open our Biz Hub soon. We offer a convenient office space for those still working at home, convenient co-working desks and private office space available on a part time basis or monthly rental. If working from home is too noisy or distracting, this may be a good flexible option without a full time office rental commitment.

Stay Safe,
Liz Skorski
Chair, Dufferin Board of Trade
