Good morning,Greetings!
With spring comes the inspiration of new business ideas and strategies. We are happy to see new businesses being created in and around Dufferin County!
Of course, as we enter yet another shutdown for the month of April, there will be an even greater impact on many local businesses. We are feeling your frustration and pain, too, and we will continue to advocate for your business needs through the powerful voice of the Ontario Chamber network. For more details and clarity on the newest restrictions, visit: Ontario.ca
The province has announced some new ideas and strategies in Budget 2021 that aim to help with the immediate impacts of the pandemic on the hardest hit sectors and communities. Please read our budget summary, below.
Through the Biz Hub, we are pleased to now offer administrative support services to help you grow your business. We can help you virtually/remotely with mailouts, data entry, hosting Zoom meetings, creating e-newsletters, general administrative duties, and more. Our services are professional and affordable. Let us know what you need, and we'll see how we can help!
To help you promote your business and your brand, DBOT's new Think Local Advertising Program is now accepting new participants. We have had had an overwhelming response to this program, and spots are limited for the May/June start. If you are looking for multi media advertising at substantial savings contact Diana at diana@dufferinbot.ca.
To further promote local businesses, we will be kicking off the summer with a new and exciting community event that you won't want to miss. The "Think Local Market" will feature vendors of local food, goods, and services created by Dufferin's small business community. Stay tuned for details!
