Contact Your Representative to Request Them to Cosponsor HR 7477
On April 7, Rep. Panetta (D-Calif.), Rep. LaHood (R-Ill.), Rep. Sires (D-N.J.), and Rep. Rose (R-Tenn.) introduced H.R. 7477, the CERTS Tax Exemption Act. This bill would provide relief to the motorcoach, school bus, and passenger vessel industries devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic by making previously awarded CERTS grants tax-exempt.
As a matter of equity and in a great time of need, these funds were intended for emergency relief and should be treated the same as other coronavirus relief funds.
Click here to contact your Member of Congress and urge them to co-sponsor H.R. 7477.
Thank you,
