CERTS Act Update
Dear Members:
We are told progress is being made on the CERTS Act grant funding program. We know it's been a slow-go. The U.S. Departments of Treasury and Transportation are in the midst of developing the program, and will likely be published later this month.
I am reaching out to you today, to suggest you actively monitor the Treasury website. Click here to access. We will also be monitoring it too and will alert our membership once guidance is published. The application process will open shortly after. At least, this is our hope.
It is suggested you start to prepare now for the application process:
1. You will need your DOT number/registration information.
2. To meet the program criteria, you need to show you had a revenue loss of 25%, or more, due to COVID-19. Therefore, have your financial records/IRS filings for 2020 (and prior years) ready.
3.If you received any form(s) of COVID relief assistance (i.e. PPP, EIDL, 5311(f). etc.), gather any documentation you have related to the relief funding.
