STOP THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S OVERTIME PAY THRESHOLD INCREASE
USE THE LINK BELOW TO CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS AND FILE COMMENTS
This summer, the U.S. Labor Department proposed changes to increase the pay threshold used to determine whether white-collar employees are exempt OR must be paid overtime. This rule DOES NOT AFFECT DRIVER PAY, BUT DOES AFFECT ADMINISTRATIVE, EXECUTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS (in other words, “white-collar” positions).
The threshold was just increased in 2019, and this Administration wants to raise it again to expand the pool of employees eligible for overtime pay, at a time when wages are already on the rise.
We urge you to take action to oppose it using the link below created by our coalition partners, the Partnership to Protect Workplace Opportunity.
Please use this LINK to contact your legislators and file comment with the Department of Labor. The comment deadline is tomorrow, November 7.
