Dear Members,

The deadline for submitting comments on FMCSA’s Safety Fitness Determination Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking or ANPRM is today.

It is important for FMCSA to hear from operators and we strongly encourage you to submit your comments. You may recall, there are 12 questions they are asking, but importantly questions 4 & 5 concern motorcoach operations specifically. Click here to view a summary of the 12 questions.

The comment does not need to be formal – it can be a simple statement, for example: “I do not support FMCSA eliminating the 3 fitness categories:

satisfactory, unsatisfactory and conditional.”
