The Pennsylvania Bus Association (PBA) is postponing its 2020 Annual Marketplace scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at the York Expo Center in York, PA, due to the growing public health concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The event is typically attended by about 1,500 group leaders, destination and attraction travel suppliers and bus companies.
The decision to postpone was made after Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf asked organizations yesterday (3/12) to suspend public gatherings of more than 250 people. In addition, numerous employers have restricted employees from attending large events as part of a concerted effort to slow the spread of the virus.
PBA will reschedule the 2020 Annual Marketplace at a time when public health officials determine it is safe again to host large events. If you can not make the reschedule date, we will issue a credit to be used at a later date. Please stay tuned.
