Canadian Renewable Energy Delegation to India, Sep 17-20, 2018 India
India has recently increased its already ambitious renewable energy target by 30% to 227MW by 2022, with the largest focus on solar (55% target or 124.5MW) and energy storage. India also has the largest solar farm in the world (648 MW) and has approved plans for 14 solar parks larger than Solar Star (world's largest park in California, 3 years ago). There are a number of Indian companies who have won solar tenders that wish to partner with strong Canadian companies who have the know-how to carry these projects forward.
To showcase Canadian solar and energy storage technologies, as well as to facilitate connections between Canadian and Indian companies, a Canadian program is being organized around India's flagship event, Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo on September 18-20, in Delhi.  Participants in the Canadian delegation will get a personalized program that can include B2B meetings, networking events, site visits and speaking opportunities at REI Expo.
Why your organization should participate:
* Develop a first-hand understanding of the opportunities and challenges of doing business in foreign markets
* Gain insights and market intelligence
* Meet key commercial entities, industry players, and potential buyers, investors and/or partners
* Participate in networking events
* Participate in pre-organized business to business meetings
* Receive on-the-ground assistance from the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service

For more information please contact Trade Commissioner Saroj Mishra at Saroj.Mishra@international.gc.caThose interested in becoming a delegate must register by Monday, August 27th, 2018.
