Announcing CanSIA's new Regional Solar Ambassador Program
As solar increasingly satisfies appetites for cleaner, reliable and affordable energy and as the economics for solar continue to improve across Canada, it's more important than ever that CanSIA directly engage with all solar markets across Canada and remove barriers to their growth.
For this reason, we are very excited to announce the launch of CanSIA's new Regional Solar Ambassador program. Solar Ambassadors will represent their local industry, working directly with the CanSIA team to stimulate market growth, build on existing public support, and foster local connections that will increase CanSIA's ability to impress our influence and expertise where it is most helpful and effective.

As members of the industry themselves, CanSIA's Solar Ambassadors will be solar-focused, collaborative, trusted by their peers and results-oriented. We look forward to introducing our newly designated Regional Solar Ambassadors in the weeks and months to come. Please stay tuned to our Solar Ambassadors webpage for more information and updates.

On
a similar note, we are pleased to introduce Lyle Goldberg as the newest member of the CanSIA team as Policy and Regulatory Affairs Manager in  Nova Scotia. Based in Halifax, Lyle is helping CanSIA grow the solar market in Nova Scotia by collaborating with the solar industry, the three orders of government, local utilities, regulatory agencies and other key stakeholders. Lyle spent the last 15 years as a policy analyst and manager with the Union of Nova Scotia Municipalities where he was responsible for establishing effective strategies, building strong stakeholder relations, managing programs and providing strategic  guidance to municipal leaders.
If you are a solar stakeholder in Nova Scotia, Lyle would love to hear from you!
