Greater Washington Apprentice Network May Employer Briefing

The Greater Washington Apprentice Network (GWAN) brings together employers, academic institutions, public and private sectors. Employers gain access to best practices from organizational peers, sources of prospective apprentice candidates, support services, academic institutions, and training resources. The GWAN meets on the first Tuesday of each month for an Employer Briefing.

Member Roundtable: Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act: What You Need to Know

Join attorneys from Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice for discussion of the newly-enacted Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA). The Virginia CDPA is a broad privacy law that will govern how companies can collect, use and disclose personal information of Virginia residents. The panelists will discuss the key features of the CDPA, how it compares to existing privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and what your company can do to prepare for compliance with the CDPA.
