AMOREM Welcomes Director of Faith Outreach

VALDESE—William Williamson has stepped up to the role of Director of Faith Outreach for AMOREM, formerly Burke Hospice and Palliative Care and Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.

After the legacy hospice organizations integrated in 2021, it was quickly identified that the organization needed an individual who focused all of their efforts on supporting the robust faith community, said Vice President of Community Engagement Kerri McFalls.

Dust Off Your Boots and Grab Your Hat, Tweetsie Railroad is Hosting Local Entertainment Auditions for the 2024 Season

Blowing Rock, NC (January 8, 2024) Tweetsie Railroad is on the lookout for exceptional performers -- singers, dancers, actors, equestrians, and magicians, to bring the Wild West to life right here in Western North Carolina. The search begins on January 20^th and 21^st, when

the park will host its local auditions on-site in the Tweetsie Palace.

“Whether you're a seasoned performer or a rising star, all are welcome to audition,” said John Setzer, Entertainment director. “This isn’t your ordinary entertainment job, here you will interact with all of our guests, on and off stage, as you transport visitors to the heart of the Wild West.”

Details for Auditions:

·         Date: January 20 and 21

·         Registration: 10:00 a.m.

·         Auditions/Interviews: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

·         Location: Tweetsie Palace, Tweetsie Railroad, 300 Tweetsie Railroad Ln, Blowing      Rock, NC

Performers from all backgrounds and styles are welcome, as the live entertainment shows feature music of various genres and styles.

Roles Open for Audition:
