Funding available for Service Excellence Blue Pin Certificate for up to 100 participants!
Funding is currently available for 100 participants (75 front line, 25 managerial/supervisory) through the County of Grande Prairie Business Support Network (BSN).
Providing an exceptional customer experience has never been more important than it is today. Customer experience can be the difference between having a competitive business advantage and losing customers to the competition. Today’s consumers have more choices than ever when it comes to purchasing items or services, and they have high expectations when they contact a company. What makes a business stand out amongst the rest is the customer service they present. Many organizations settle for “good” service. This program will boost your customer service skills from good to great, in turn, building customer loyalty and helping your business stand out against the competition!

Many of the most successful entrepreneurs and business leaders work longer hours and get less return on their investments of time and money. Maybe you grapple with some of these challenges: Lack of control over time, markets or your company. People who don’t listen, understand or follow through. Profit that’s inconsistent and/or there’s not enough. Growth is happening, but you can’t break through to the next level. Quick fixes that come-and-go, bringing little change with continued frustrations. Don’t let your business run you! Get a grip on your business.
Are you a business owner or a senior level executive and want to see your business consistently run better and grow faster? Work Experience Placement Information:
The work experience placement portion of our program provides Ballad participants with an opportunity to showcase the competencies and skills that they have attained through FSCM training. We partner with employers who are willing to provide hands-on experience that further enhances our participants' technological portfolio as they seek permanent employment within the Supply Chain sectors. Work experience placements are unpaid and approximately eight weeks in length. What is the Dignity Drive all about?
The four Rotary Clubs and Rotaract club in Grande Prairie have teamed together to collect new/unused underwear and socks for homeless and street-involved people, as well as others who would benefit by having these items.
Why underwear and socks?
Access to clean underwear and socks is essential for one’s comfort, health, and hygiene. Wearing clean underwear and socks also contributes significantly to one’s sense of value and dignity as well as one’s confidence and motivation to aspire. This fact applies to all people but is especially applicable for individuals who are attempting to transition out of homelessness and away from street-related activities. Underwear and socks are the most needed staple clothing but are the least donated items to centers that shelter and serve homeless and street-involved individuals.
When is the Dignity Drive held?
Due to the high and ever pressing need of these items, the campaign is held in the Fall during the month of October and in the Spring during the month of April.
Which agencies in Grande Prairie will distribute the donations?
The agencies who will distribute the items are: The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, Canadian Mental Health Association-Alberta Northwest Region, Northreach Centre, Saint Lawrence Centre, and Rotary House.
