Meet Jim Parsons
Jim Parsons was born in Howell, Mich., but moved to Clare when he was 3 years old. Jim graduated from Central Michigan University in 1999 with a Finance major and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
He has been licensed to sell real estate since 2001. In June of 2009 Jim became partner and broker/owner of Century 21 Bowerman/Peake Realty, Inc. Jim has been active in all levels of the Central Michigan Association of Realtors including: finance committee, bylaws committee, education committee, and the MLS Committee. Jim also served on the Board of Directors, was President of the Association for four years and the treasurer in 2014. Jim earned the Realtor of the Year Award in 2010 and 2015. He also has earned a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers.
He enjoys bow hunting and tournament bass fishing for fun.
Jim became an Ambassador of the Chamber in May 2016 and is excited to network with other local business owners. His favorite thing about being an Ambassador thus far is the ribbon cuttings and welcoming the new businesses to the area.
What Jim enjoys most about the Mt. Pleasant area is that it is a great place to raise a family and offers a lot such as golf courses, Chippewa river, shopping and CMU!
