Meet Monica Riedel
This month we are featuring Ambassador Monica Riedel. Monica grew up in the small town of Pewamo, Michigan. She attended Ferris State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics. In her spare time, Monica and her husband enjoy golfing, hunting, camping, and spending time with their families and their beloved cats and dog. Monica has been an Ambassador since 2020 and has loved the way it has helped her connect with the community.
Monica has worked at Independent Bank for four years and enjoys that the bank has a local and community focused initiative. She likes getting to know her customers and fellow co-workers aims to help the Mt. Pleasant community strive to be bigger and better. Monica looks forward to continuing to create strong community relations through both her job and as an Ambassador and has great hope for the future of our community.

Do you enjoy mentoring and meeting new people? Maybe you have the calling to become an Ambassador?
Our ambassadors play a crucial role to maintain contact with Chamber members and help them recognize and utilize the value of their membership. They also ensure you are getting what you want out of our membership.
Ambassadors serve in many ways, such as:
- Greeting members at Chamber functions and performing other goodwill projects such as ribbon cuttings, etc.
- Encouraging participation of current members at Chamber functions
- Visiting members in their businesses, and subsequently providing feedback to the Chamber
- Mentoring new members

REFFERALS OVER BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT | |
Hear from Mary Kaechele - President of Bella Senior Care & Private Duty Center
It’s all about family! Starting Bella Senior Care in 2010 was personal. Having a family member in need of care was stressful for everyone. However, after finding the perfect fit in terms of assistance, it wasn’t any longer. That set the standard for Bella Senior Care.
Having been in the same situation as many other families, Bella Senior Care understands. Offering quality In-Home-Care is what we do best. We service many rural communities throughout the Mid-Michigan area which have a difficult time receiving help.
When not focusing on our clients, I spend time with my family. We enjoy traveling, boating and various sports. Traveling both domestically and internationally is at the top of our list of things we enjoy. With my oldest daughter (Elizabeth) attending Michigan Tech University, we have also spent much time enjoying the great U.P.! My youngest (Simone) is completing High School and ready to hit the ground running!
