Good afternoon!

I hope this email finds you well on this sunny, spring day! Here are a few quick updates for you.

Government Support Updates

The Canada Emergency Response Benefit ( CERB) is open for applications .

Chamber Network Updates

They have launched the Canadian Business Resilience Network in partnership with the Government of Canada to help the business community prepare, persevere and, ultimately, prosper in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here is their note to us on that:
"We know provincial and territorial chambers have been doing great work surveying members in their markets to capture real-time insight that’s informing governments through this crisis. Those surveys will continue to be useful as regional snapshots. As the national chamber, our focus will be to coordinate on a Canada-wide survey of the business community to inform the federal government’s next steps.

We are asking you to actively and urgently share this invitation with all of your members and encourage their participation in the   Canadian Survey on Business Conditions (CSBC) . "

Lastly, the Ontario Chamber has continued to provide important updates on their website .
Local Updates

We thought this might be a good time to remind our membership of our many discount programs that are available, as you may be able to leverage these discounts during this time to cut some operating costs.

Our partners at the Chamber's Plan have also launched a Business Resource Website .

As members, you are supported by such a fantastic network of Chamber supports, from discounts to resources, webinars, and training opportunities, to surveys to get your opinions heard. I trust that the coming weeks will highlight what being a part of the network is all about.

Send me your impact statement , so that we can determine how best to help and support as YOUR Chamber of Commerce. I will close by wishing you and your loved ones all the best, I hope to talk with you soon.
