As a General Engineering Contractor, we deliver reliable earthwork and utility services that set the stage for strong, lasting builds.

As a General Building Contractor with interior design expertise, we manage every stage of the process, from design and permitting to construction and furnishing so you end up with a space that truly feels like home.

From the Dirt to the Details

We truly took “From the dirt to the details” to the next level when we opened Thrap Market Company last fall. What started as a construction company has grown into a place where we can continue serving our clients long after the construction is complete.

Under one roof in the heart of Old Town Eureka, you’ll find a home goods and seasonal market, an event venue for workshops, parties, and meetings, and our interior design studio and office. The Market allows us to meet with clients in a space that feels like home while also giving our community a place to gather, shop create, and celebrate both life’s little moments and its biggest milestones.

Rooted in Fall: Wreath Workshop Saturday Morning

2 hrs|$65

A good wreath is a staple for welcoming the season into your home.

We’ll start with a natural grapevine base and layer in cascara, alder and plum leaves, bundles of seasonal favorites, and plenty of sprigs, twigs and gathered pieces to make your wreath completely your own. Each one is finished with a soft velvet bow and made to dry beautifully, aging throughout the season into rich shades of amber, brown and burgundy.

All materials are provided and most are harvested right here in Humboldt. You’ll leave with a wreath as unique as the season itself, and hopefully a few new memories too.

No experience necessary.

Your $65 ticket includes all materials, supplies, instruction, and complimentary drinks. No experience needed, just come ready to create, gather, and take home something beautiful for your front door.

Fun Facts:

Our kids are part of this business just as much as we are. They get to grow up alongside Thrap & Company.

They come on job walks, spend time at the Market, and have met many of our clients. We work seven days a week, so it’s important to us that while we’re building a business, we’re also raising our family together.

We hope our girls grow up seeing the value of hard work, serving others, and building something they’re proud of too.
