McMurr's - Your One Stop Copy Shop - For Your Personal and Business Needs.

HISTORY

McMurr Productions, Inc. (dba McMurr's) is solely owned by, Catherine (Cat) Murray.  Cat brings experience, talent and drive to ensure the success of all products and services.

I am honored that McMurr's was chosen as the Business of the Week.  McMurr's started in 1997 in California as a DJ Service. Since moving to Tennessee, and adding printing services, in May of 2003, there has been an overwhelming response from the community.  It's been a great 15 years, and McMurr's continues to grow thanks to many people and business, but especially to our customers that have referred us to their family and friends.

Cat has a multifaceted background to draw upon.  Since 2000, Catherine has dedicated herself to running McMurr's and establishing the business in the Tullahoma Community.  "I don't think I go anywhere without telling someone what we do. Often people come through the doors of McMurr's, look around and ask if McMurr's is a chain."  My usual response is, "Not yet!" My goal has always been for everyone in Tullahoma, and the surrounding area to know the name McMurr's as well as any brand name product or company."

Before moving to Tennessee, Catherine worked at NASA Ames Research Center.  Prior to her work at NASA, Catherine was a supervisor of 5 after school programs with 25 child care professionals, served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and was the warehouse supervisor for a copier sales and service company.

 MOTIVATION MONDAY

BOOK CLUB

In Good Leaders Ask Great Questions, John C. Maxwell delves into the process of becoming a successful leader by examining how questions can be used to advantage. What are the questions leaders should ask themselves? What questions should they ask members of their team? He then responds to the toughest problems leaders have presented to him. Using social media, Maxwell offered the floor to followers with unanswered questions about what it takes to achieve their professional best, and selected 70 questions on the most popular topics, including:
  • How can I discover my unique purpose as a leader?
  • What is the most effective daily habit that any leader should develop?
  • How do you motivate an unmotivated person?
  • How would you work with a difficult leader who has no vision?
This book is a thorough, insightful response to those readers and anyone who feels they have plateaued on their journey to develop their ultimate potential. Every leader has room to grow, and the advice in these pages will help listeners assess their current position, and structure an effective plan to achieve their goals.
