Reminder: Complete Streets - Free Training Course
The City of Lebanon will be hosting a course on implementation of Complete Streets policies on 1/22/19 and would like to invite you to attend.

This is a free four-hour course led and funded by the ODOT Local Technical Assistance Program that will introduce the concept of a ‘complete street’, explain the benefits of this type of roadway design, and provide steps for implementing Complete Streets policies. Professional development hours may be available.

Complete Streets is a vision for roadway design that provides safe and effective transport for all users; a complete street would allow residents to easily travel from place to place on foot, by bike, behind the wheel, on transit, or by any other transportation method prevalent in your community. Benefits of policy implementation include increased connection of residents to services and businesses, improved health of the community, and a safer roadway network with a goal toward Vision Zero. See the ODOT LTAP Course Flyer for more information.

The course will be hosted at 125 S Sycamore St in Lebanon, OH and will begin at 8:00 am on Tuesday, the 22 nd , and end approximately at noon. If you would like to attend, please e-mail by Friday, January 11 th, with the names of expected attendees from your organization. Feel free to pass this invitation to others in your organization that may wish to attend.

Please send your email to Hall Block

Reminder: Campaign Launched to Purchase Building as Permanent Home for The Lebanon Theatre Company
It’s finally happening! The Mechanic Street Playhouse, which LTC has called home for the past 10+ years, is up for sale.

This means that they have the historic opportunity to purchase the building and go from renters to owners for the first time in LTC’s 24 year history.

But they need your help!

In order to make this dream come true, they need to raise $100,000 by the end of January to cover the down payment and expected maintenance expenses.

LTC has been a staple of downtown Lebanon for over 2 decades, but they never needed your help more than right now.

So please, go to www.ltcplays.com and give what you can. No gift is too small (or too large)!
Thanks from LTC
