Dear Jennifer,

If you ever have a doubt what month it is in Mobile, you need only to step outside! Summer is in full swing, but our members are still busy making waves in their industries and contributing to the PEP mission!

It was great to see so many faces at our 2nd Networking Social last month. I hope you all made some great connections and enjoyed "Taco Tuesday" with a cold drink. Thank you again to our PEP Board of Directors and our hospitality sponsors for making this networking event possible.

It's hard to believe, but our 23rd Annual Meeting and Environmental Stewardship Awards is just around the corner! You can register now to attend this event as we celebrate the achievements of our members for another year. Registration will also be opening soon for another favorite event - the Industrial Reverse Trade Show.

The PEP mission is only possible because of our member support not just through sponsorship, but through the time and talents of our members serving on committees. We are still recruiting members to serve on committees to make these popular PEP events and future projects a success. Please consider serving on our Education, Projects, or Reverse Trade Show committees - they are a great way to get involved and network with other industries!

PEP'S 2ND ANNUAL NETWORKING EVENT A SUCCESS!

The PEP Board of Directors hosted a successful 2nd Annual Networking event on May 23, 2023, with so many of our PEP Members and new friends in attendance!

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR PEP'S ANNUAL MEETING

Join us on Thursday, September 7th at the MacQueen Alumni Center on the campus of The University of South Alabama for PEP’s 23rd Annual Meeting & Awards. Recipients of the 2023 Environmental Stewardship Awards will be presented and we will highlight the significant and positive contributions these PEP members are making to the Gulf Coast region in three crucial areas: economic growth, environmental health and social responsibility.

WE WANT YOU - TO VOLUNTEER ON A COMMITTEE!

We're looking for volunteers to serve on our committees! Our PEP events are known to be high-quality because of the work of our members behind the scenes. Committees are also a great way to network with other members and get your company involved! The committees seeking volunteers include:

DONATE YOUR OLD OR UNWANTED ELECTRONICS

Help PEP Member Ransom Recycling break the cycle of poverty and make our environment cleaner by recycling your old, unwanted, broken, and outdated electronics. 

Individual e-waste donations can be dropped off at their shop in Chickasaw or the Mobile Recycling Center on Hitt Road. Business and corporate donations of large quantities could qualify for pick-up services.

PEP's 23rd Industrial Reverse Trade Show will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Fort Whiting.

The Industrial Reverse Trade Show brings decision-makers from industry together in one location. Ticket holders from the supplier, vendor and service sectors are the visitors who walk through the show “calling on” plant managers, purchasing managers, engineers and maintenance managers from industry, shipbuilding, multi-disciplined engineering firms, major medical centers and more.
