Hunterdon Preserves More Open Space A 48-acre land parcel in Raritan Township that was zoned to permit a 19-unit subdivision will instead be preserved as open space, under a $437,500 Green Acres grant to the township and a preservation grant in the same amount recently approved by the Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners. Read more. 
 
Mercer County: Trenton Water Works (TWW) Repair and Service Advisory TWW continues repairs on a problematic section of pipe at the Pennington Avenue Reservoir. Somerset County: BOBO Fridays Food Drive Residents can help their neighbors in need by purchasing an extra can of food during their routine trip to the grocery store and donating it to “Buy One, Bring One” (BOBO) Fridays on July 16. Donations can be placed in the blue bins located in the breezeway of the Somerset County administration building in Somerville. If residents cannot donate on a Friday, donations are accepted at the same location throughout the year on any non-holiday weekday from 8:30 am to 4 pm. Read more. 


Continuing Education (CE)

For Brokers: Need to Renew Your Agent's License? You can do so here. Licensees are required to complete the Qualifying Questionnaire prior to renewing their license.

License Renewals: The NJ Real Estate Commission is providing extension dates for the regular deadlines during this renewal cycle. The licensing renewal cycle deadline of June 30 has been extended to Monday, July 19. The late fee of $200 is now due and payable for any license renewals during this CE cycle.

Bright Policy Violations Update Webinar The 2021 real estate market has been challenging, with buyers aggressively competing for historically low housing inventory. The breakneck speed of the market has not only impacted our clients, but has also created challenges related to data accuracy and broker-to-broker cooperation. Pre-Registration to Open July 20 for Small Businesses - Emergency Assistance Loan Program (Phase 2) This program provides up to $100,000 in financing to NJ small businesses and non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic.
