CORE Holiday Hours The CORE Association of Realtors will be closed this Friday, June 18, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We will reopen at 8:30 am Monday, June 21. We wish our members a wonderful and safe weekend!

Local

Trenton Traffic Alert It's graduation season and as a result, expect heavier than normal traffic in and around the area of the CURE Arena, and plan accordingly. Expect traffic on the following dates and approximate hours:
  • Thursday, June 17, 1:30 to 5:30 pm
  • Friday, June 18, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Monday, June 21, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday, June 22, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
 
Mercer County Offers Checks for Fresh Produce to Qualifying Older Adults Mercer County again will be mailing out fresh-produce checks to older residents that will enable them to purchase locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farm stands. Read more.
Somerset County Facilities Reopen to Public on June 15 In most facilities, the public is not required to wear masks if they are fully vaccinated, but those who have not been fully vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Those who decide to wear a mask where it is not required will not be penalized or restricted. Read more.


Continuing Education (CE)

License Renewals: The NJ Real Estate Commission is providing extension dates for the regular deadlines during this renewal cycle. The licensing renewal cycle deadline of June 30 will be extended to July 19. The late fee of $200 is now due and payable for any license renewals during this CE cycle.

NJ Realtors: Good Neighbor Award Applications Open The award recognizes three Realtors or Realtor-Associates who have made extraordinary commitments to improving the quality of life in their local and/or global communities through volunteer community service.
  • Three winners are chosen annually and receive a grant of $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second, or $1,000 for third place for the charity organization of their choice.
  • All winners are recognized in the January/February issue of New Jersey Realtor, on NJR's website, receive state and local publicity, and an award signifying their contributions.
  • All three winners are also announced in December during an awards ceremony at the Realtors Triple Play Convention and Trade Expo. The deadline for applications is September 17. View the 2021 Good Neighbor Award application here.
