Forms Update – New Member Benefit NJ Realtors will be continuing its partnership with Lone Wolf through 2024 with valuable member benefits such as transactions (zipForm Edition), unlimited e-signature, and broker edition. Starting October 1, all NJ Realtors members will have access to zipForm mobile, which will enable users to create/manage transactions, send e-signatures, and more directly from a mobile device. NJBIZ: NJ to Offer $500 ‘Return to Work’ Bonuses; $10K to Hire, Train New Workers The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development-run Return & Earn program will, according to the governor, “assist unemployed workers in their return to work” and “help small businesses fill the positions they need to fill to grow, thrive.”

NAR: Pending Home Sales Recover 8.1 Percent in August Pending home sales rebounded in August, recording significant gains after two prior months of declines, according to the National Association of Realtors. Each of the four major U.S. regions mounted month-over-month growth in contract activity. However, those same territories reported decreases in transactions year-over-year, with the Northeast being hit hardest, enduring a double-digit drop. Read more.  
Ultra-White Paint Could Cool Homes Better Than Air Conditioning Scientists at Purdue University have created the whitest paint in the world. Their research, published in April, shows that the ultra-white color could drastically reduce or even eventually eliminate the need for air conditioning. Read more.

Declining to Void Sale, Court Highlights Auction Rules A recent case underscores the importance of understanding the distinction between a residential sales transaction and an auction sale, which may have different standards under state law.
